The Cambrian, Switzerland

The Cambrian Hotel sits in the Swiss Alps near the resort town of Adelboden, which is mainly known as a hub for skiers. In fact, there are ski lifts within walking instance of the hotel. It would be impossible to define the Cambrian as anything other than a luxury resort. In addition to its proximity to the slopes, the hotel is known for its health spa. Many people actually refer to the Cambrian as a "wellness hotel" instead of a "ski resort."

The spa area has both indoor and outdoor heated pools. The outdoor, infinity-style swimming area overlooks the mountains. Because the water is heated, guests can swim outdoors during the winter, even though the snow comes right up to the edge of the water.
