The Naftali Forest is in the highlands overlooking the Hula Valley. The valley is known for its bird species and natural beauty, but the forests are equally impressive. Beside the stands of oaks, hawthorns and fruit trees, hikers may find rare orchids and irises during the spring and summer.
The whole forest is crisscrossed with trails for hiking and bicycling. Day hiking is possible on virtually all of these paths because there are also roads inside the forest. You can easily reach your chosen trailhead and then enjoy a few hours of hiking before returning to the car.
