Switzerland has not developed a comprehensive high-speed rail network, instead prioritizing the reduction of connection times through the nodal system. This has made for a very convenient and easy to use system that is well integrated with other forms of transport, and which gets you to anywhere you need to go.
For scenery, the Glacier Express, which connects the resort towns of St. Moritz and Zermatt in the Swiss Alps, has become especially well known for its beauty. But basically any train that promises a trip through the Alps or the countryside is sure to be a treat.
