Hangzhou Public Bicycle
China has the most bike-share bicycles in the world, and Hangzhou, a city of 7 million, has the most of any Chinese city with a bike-share program.
Launched in 2008, the program has nearly 80,000 bikes and several thousand stations from which to rent or return them, with plans to add another 20,000 by 2020. For the sake of comparison, that's about 10 times as many as New York's Citi Bike program.
