On October 3, 1933, Einstein spoke to a packed audience at the aptly named Royal Albert Hall, located on the northern edge of South Kensington, London. While the iconic performance hall still occasionally features genius lecturers, its main auditorium is busy hosting more than 390 shows each year – including classical, rock and pop concerts, ballet, opera, and film screenings with a live orchestra. It is most famous for hosting The Proms, an eight-week summer season of daily orchestral music concerts held each year. A wax figure of Einstein resides at the nearby Madame Tussauds.
