Camargue horse

Deep in the swamps of the French Parc Regional de Camargue, a white Camargue horse nestles her foal. It's one of those scenes that just makes us want to hug both of them.

Horses evolved over the past 45 million to 55 million years from smaller creatures. Humans began to domesticate them around 4000 BC.

Since then, horses have been used for just about everything. They help with police work, agriculture, entertainment and even therapy.
