Minneapolis Sculpture Garden
Some gardens are focused on human-made features. That is the case at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, which is a public park that is part of the Walker Art Center. The iconic Spoonbridge and Cherry sculpture, considered one the city's most recognizable symbols, sits in a pond inside this downtown green space.
More than 40 additional works from the Walker's collection have been placed around the garden. They sit alongside seasonal plant displays and an arbor and flower garden. Because it is considered a city park, there is no admission charge to enter the garden. Free tours are offered on summer weekends.
