Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv, Israel
Tel Aviv's largest park stretches for hundreds of acres along a river. It's full of natural beauty as well as man-made beauty, such as a rock garden and tropical garden. Rocks are interspersed with 3,500 or so species of plants, including over six acres of cacti that offer up gorgeous flowers.
One of the trails brings passerby to a scenic view of Yarkon Park’s lake, which is surrounded by palm trees and home to fish and swans. Visitors can rent bikes and paddle boats for fun.
The place also includes extensive lawns, sports facilities, botanical gardens, an aviary, a water park and two outdoor concert venues, so it's pretty impossible to get bored here.
