Bagpiping

Want to learn how to play "Amazing Grace" or "Danny Boy" on a bagpipe? At Carnegie Mellon University's School of Music in Pittsburgh, students can get an undergraduate performance degree in just about every musical instrument, including the bagpipe. The faculty includes 22 members of the highly regarded Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. At the end of each semester, the students get to perform at Carnegie Music Hall, which is only a short walk from campus.
