Auctioneering

Ever see an auctioneer speaking a mile a minute and wonder: Where did he learn how to do that? Well, one place could've been at Harrisburg Area Community College in Pennsylvania, which offers degrees in auctioneering. Besides being nimble with your tongue (the experts call it an "auction chant"), the school says its graduates are "approachable, knowledgeable of a wide variety of merchandise, skilled in closing the sale and maintaining momentum and sensitive to the flow of the auction." Sounds like a winning bid to us.
