Netherlands: Baseball

International baseball is led by traditional powerhouses hailing from the United States, the Caribbean and Asia, but among these teams there is one that sticks out: Netherlands.

The lone European squad in the top 10 world rankings, it benefits from having baseball-loving Dutch territories in the Caribbean that have brought that love back to the mainland.

At the World Baseball Classic earlier this year they came in fourth, a level of success that shocked some.
