Unlike most methods, the AeroPress fully immerses its coffee grounds in hot water, which leads to a whole lot of things that make this brewing method seem pretty perfect: 30-second brew time, one-fifth the acid of regular drip coffee and exceptional smoothness.
Thanks to its low acidity, this stuff is easier on the stomach than ordinary coffee. That may not matter much to people with stomachs of steel, but it does make a difference to those of us whose stomachs churn at the mere sight of hungover people drinking acidic coffee.
