Smisje Brewery's Mustard Ale

Looking for your beer that tastes good and bites back? You'll want to seek out a bottle of Smisje Brewery's Mustard Ale.

Brewed in Belgium, this dark blond ale is made with 90% barley malt, 10% Munich malt, two sorts of hops, dark candy sugar, and a healthy dose of crushed mustard seeds.

Tasters say that while the mustard seeds impart some spicy notes, they work well in concert with other flavors of caramel, grape, apple and apricot. "One of those beers that make me rethink beer as an art in addition to a beverage," wrote one reviewer.

Pairs well with burgers, grilled chicken, fruits and cheese.
