How to give Mom the ultimate international breakfast in bed
This Mother's Day, do something special: Don't let her get out of bed until she eats breakfast!

The English breakfast, also known as "the Full English" or "fry-up," has been around in several variations since at least the 1840s. Back then, you might have seen some interesting ingredients make its way into your breakfast table that we wouldn't dream of today: stewed figs, pheasant legs, collared tongue, kidneys on toast, pig’s cheek and Melton pork pie. But for Mom, we'd suggest sticking with the most popular combination: bacon, poached or fried eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast with butter, sausage and baked beans.
