The refreshingly crisp Sauvignon blanc

Crisp, dry and elegant describe wine from the Sauvignon blanc grape. Budding late and ripening early, it performs well in warmer climates; with particular success in California, Australia, South Africa and Israel.

One of the unique tasting notes to Sauvignon blanc is that of freshly cut grass or herbs. These complement particularly well with other hints of grapefruit, lemon and mango. In combination with sémillon grapes, Sauvignon blanc is responsible for the world's sweetest dessert wines.

Delicious food pairings include most seafood, grilled vegetables and chicken. Sauvignon blanc is one of the few wines that also goes well with sushi.
