Do some knitting

Time to brush the cobwebs off Grandma’s old rocking chair. It's been scientifically demonstrated that people who knit, sew, crochet or do similar crafts are happier and less stressed. Similar to crossword puzzles, knitting is a repetitive activity that takes continuous, careful thought, with a goal of the the finished product always at the forefront of your mind as a motivator. Clinical neuropsychologist Catherine Carey Levisay told CNN what crafters have always known. "Creating – whether it be through art, music, cooking, quilting, sewing, drawing, photography (or) cake decorating – is beneficial to us in a number of important ways."
