The farmer: Morgan Freeman
Much like Chris Pratt finds solace in the woods, American actor Morgan Freeman finds his peace on a 124-acre ranch in Mississippi. In addition to managing several horses and planting trees or all kinds, the man best known for his iconic voice and sage advice is also an avid beekeeper.
"There's a concerted effort to bring bees back onto the planet," he said. "We do not realize that they are the foundation, I think, of the growth of the planet, the vegetation ... so we've got acres and acres of clover, we're planting stuff like lavender, I've got like, maybe 140 magnolia trees, big blossoms."
If farming is your thing, Freeman would make a fine dinner guest. In various interviews from his ranch, he espouses on everything from the benefits of planting willow trees on swampy land to the right percentage of protein in grass for consumption by cows.
"I can be pretty happy just walking the land," he added.
