American director Francis Ford Coppola's 1992 reboot of the Dracula story featured three undead brides played by Romanian Florina Kendrick (left), Italian Monica Bellucci (center), and Michaela Bercu (right), a former Israeli supermodel.

While the erotic nature of the brides often shows them in various stages of undress, Coppola did provide some unique touches. In addition to flowing robes, all three women also feature different headpieces. The vampire played by Kendrick even had live snakes moving through her hair, an example of the practical effects Coppola insisted on using throughout the production.

"I think it’s a very sumptuous, elegant, imaginative, strange project," he told Yahoo. "I get a kick out of it because there were so many things we did that were chancy. We didn’t do the conservative thing, by any means."
