She almost became a lawyer
If it hadn't been for her persistent agent, Gadot says she likely would have gone on to practice law.
In 2007, the-then 22-year-old model was almost finished with her first year of law school in Israel when a casting agent for the latest James Bond film sought her out to be a Bond Girl. Despite initially turning down the invitation, her agent convinced her to give the acting opportunity a shot. She didn't end up getting the role, but the experience completely changed her life.
“It was like, ‘Oh, my God, this is so much more fun than law school!’" she explained. "I said to my agent, ‘Let’s give it a try!’ A month later I got the lead part for a show in Israel and three months later this lady called and said that they were looking for the new 'Fast and Furious' girl ..."
