Set four years after the events of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol, 2," the massive ensemble film "Avengers: Infinity Wars" aims to bring together superheroes from every Marvel movie stretching back to 2008. Their collective mission? To rally together to stop Thanos, a super villain attempting to secure a power that will allow him to impose his will over all realities.
According to American directors Anthony and Joe Russo, the film is a culmination of everything that has happened so far in the Marvel cinematic universe.
"The cast is so large and there are so many amazing actors playing these characters, it’s an embarrassment of riches for storytellers and directors," Anthony said. "Joe and I can’t believe we get to play with this level of talent all in one movie."
"Avengers: Infinity Wars" is slated for release on May 4, 2018.
