British actress Millie Bobby Brown captured the hearts of '80s geeks everywhere with her Emmy-nominated role in Netflix's "Stranger Things." When it came time to shave her head for the mysterious role of Eleven in the dramatic series, the 13-year-old told People that she was totally fine with it.

"My dad reacted fine, but my grandfather… nope!" she shared. "Everyone was saying, ‘No,’ but I didn’t. My friends didn’t want me to do it either, but my best friend told me I should definitely do it."

As for growing her hair long again, Brown has no plans to stop rocking her pixie cut. “I hope I inspire people," she added. "It’s really cool to have short hair.”
