9 character actors seemingly everywhere in Hollywood
From that guy in 'Star Wars: Rogue One' to that gal on 'Daredevil,' these are the actors who keep us guessing from role to role.
While a notable presence in such films as "Gone Girl" and "The Blind Side," American actress Kim Dickens has made her biggest impact in television. Juicy roles in series such as "Deadwood," "House of Cards," "Treme," "Sons of Anarchy" and the zombie-thriller "Fear the Walking Dead" all grace her resume.
"I really enjoy that quality of work and how patient that storytelling is," she said of working in television. "You can really just sink your teeth in and the character is full of nuance and depth and minutiae, and it’s really fun to work on that kind of material."
In her current role on "Fear the Walking Dead," Dickens echoes "World War Z" author Max Brooks in explaining how the zombie apocalypse would trigger humanity's survival instincts.
"It’s that universal theme of survival," she told the Wall Street Journal. "The reinvention in it – who are you at the outset of this and who do you become? Where do you change the boundaries of your morals? I think that’s fascinating to explore."
