'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End'

An early candidate for 2016's Game of the Year, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" once again follows the adventures of fortune hunter Nathan Drake and his search for a legendary pirate's treasure. The game, the last in the celebrated franchise from American studio Naughty Dog, offers a dramatic conclusion for fans who have stuck with the series for over a decade.

"We felt like, if this is the last one, then these three are the set up, this is the payoff," Israeli-American creative director Neil Druckmann told IGN. "Every loose end, everything that's been introduced and not quite paid off, we have to do it here."

Needless to say, the dedication of Druckmann and his team has left an impression. "Uncharted 4" is currently the highest-rated game of 2016, with many praising it for its gorgeous art direction, voice acting, engrossing story, and satisfying conclusion. For those who love globe-trotting adventures that unwind like a good novel, the "Uncharted" series is worth punching a ticket for.
