The coolest Einstein public art on the planet
Albert Einstein continues to be celebrated with public artworks around the world.
Einstein has a deep connection to the state of Israel, with his vast archives being held at Jerusalem's Hebrew University. At one of the country's other major public institutions of higher learning, Tel Aviv University, he has his own boulevard and public square.
And Israel's Academy of Sciences and Humanities, located in Jerusalem, has placed this massive statue in its garden, at the center of its own Albert Einstein Square.
Weighing in at approximately 10 tons, the sculpture is actually a replica of a monument located at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C.
