Brazilian street artist Eduardo Kobra has become well known for his colorful and kaleidoscopic murals, and his subjects are often purposefully chosen for their important contributions to mankind.
It makes sense, then, that he chose to paint Albert Einstein on the side of a building in Brazil, his home country.
The São Paulo public artwork is actually one of several pieces the artist has done of Einstein. Not only did he paint this one, titled "Genial is riding a bike," but he was also commissioned to do a piece in West Palm Beach as part of CANVAS, the nation’s largest outdoor museum show.
And prior to both of these, in 2013 in Los Angeles he painted the upper portion of Einstein's face onto the side of a wall.
