Dermot Mulrooney/Dylan McDermott

Both of these actors made their way into the pop culture pantheon in the 1990s – Dylan (right) in the TV drama "The Practice" and Dermot (left) in the romantic comedy "My Best Friend's Wedding" alongside Julia Roberts. While these two definitely look alike, it's their tongue-twisting similar-sounding names which gets most people tripped up. The two actors get confused for one another so often, they became the basis for a fake game show on "Saturday Night Live" called "Dylan McDermott or Dermot Mulroney?"
