Acre Fringe Theatre Festival, Acre, Israel

Staged amidst a beautiful backdrop that includes castles, alleyways and a picturesque port, this four-day fall festival attracts thousands of attendees each year and includes performances by roughly 300 artists from Israel and around the world. The festival has been around since 1979 and is especially kid friendly. Free street shows include puppet theater, dance, circus acts and mime artists, meaning this fringe festival is for the whole family.
