10 upcoming superhero movies to stoke your inner geek
From 'Wonder Woman' to 'X-Men,' the cinema is about to be visited by nearly every superhero imaginable.
The decades-long development to bring Marvel's "Doctor Strange" to the big screen will finally bear fruit next fall when British star Benedict Cumberbatch reveals his take on the bizarre, complicated and magical superhero.
“These gestures are ways of creating the magic. It’s a beautiful thing, it’s balletic, it’s very dynamic,” Cumberbatch told Entertainment Weekly of his character's abilities to wield magic with his hands.
Directed by American Scott Derrickson, "Strange" also stars Britsh actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, Scottish star Tilda Swinton and American actress Rachel McAdams. A true international production, the film's principal photography has taken place in Nepal, Hong Kong, London and New York City.
"Doctor Strange" is slated for release on Nov. 4, 2016.
