Photos: Zoo animals that were nice to me
I went to Israel's Ramat Gan Safari and came across a lot of animals who gave me a hand (or paw).

I went to Israel's Ramat Gan Safari near Tel Aviv, with a plan to take some great animal photos. But once I got there, I realized some of the animals don't want to be in photos, or even around people. Maybe they were just tired of tourists.
I was having a tough time taking photos, until some kindly animals noticed me and, seeing my obvious desire to be around them, came over. Here are some of the animals that were nice enough to hang out and have a photo shoot with me.

I'm not sure if these were alligators or crocodiles, but they were sure happy to sit still for me. (Photo: Ilana E. Strauss)
I ended up making a video of these fish. (Photo: Ilana E. Strauss)
I'm pretty sure visitors aren't supposed to feed the giraffes, but I wasn't complaining. (Photo: Ilana E. Strauss)
