Meandering mentalist monkeys around
World's busiest magician Oz Pearlman takes a break on a jaunt to Southeast Asia.
From The Grapevine's favorite mentalist, "America's Got Talent" finalist Oz Pearlman, is one of the busiest performers we know. Every time we call him, he's either on a plane, on a tarmac, or on the way to the airport.
So it's no surprise that when we caught up with him today, the Israeli-born 34-year-old was half a world away in Southeast Asia. He's in Indonesia for a performance.
So what does Pearlman do during his downtime between shows? He hangs out at a monkey sanctuary. He posted this cute photo of himself this morning to social media while taking a tour of the Ubud Monkey Forest in Bali. Never heard of a monkey sanctuary? These parks are all over the globe, including one in Pearlman's home country of Israel.
What's next for the tireless magician? After he leaves Asia, he's headed to Europe for the Cannes Film Festival in France.
He'll be returning to the U.S. soon and, in fact, you can actually see him in person next month. While Pearlman mostly appears on TV and at corporate events, he's doing a rare live show at a public venue in June in Westhampton Beach, New York. There are still seats available – that is, until they disappear like the man himself.
