Michael Jordan – immortalized mid-flight in his iconic Air Jordan logo – has been known to spend more time off the ground than on it. But he's not the only one.
Whether it's in the sports world or in other arenas, our eyes are drawn to those moments caught when a person is not tethered by gravity to the ground below. It's why famed astronaut Buzz Aldrin enjoys scuba diving so much – because it reminds him of the 12 days he spent defying gravity, floating in outer space.
