Second Israeli wins judo medal at Rio Olympics
Or Sasson follows just days after Yarden Gerbi won bronze.

Israeli judoka Or Sasson won the bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Summer Games in a bout against Alex Maxell Garcia Mendoza of Cuba. Teddy Riner of France won gold and Hisayoshi Harasawa won the silver.
Sasson's win follows the Tuesday victory of his fellow Israeli Yarden Gerbi who claimed the bronze medal, winning Israel's first Olympic medal since 2008.
Sasson joins other Israeli athletes who are participating at the Rio Olympics including those in gymnastics, golf, track and field, sailing, badminton and other sports. And he follows in a rich history of former Israeli Olympians.
The 25-year-old Sasson, who was born in Jerusalem, won the silver medal at the 2015 European Judo Championship.
