It's been an upbeat week at the Ramat Gan Safari, located just outside the Mediterranean coastal city of Tel Aviv, Israel. First, doctors at the Israeli zoo saved a 22-year-old Nubian vulture from certain death – and his species' disappearance from the country – and now a new baby rhino has been born.

Tanda, a 23-year-old rhino, is the mother of the baby male, who marks her fourth birth since arriving at the Israeli park 13 years ago.

The little guy ... well he doesn't yet have a name, but he does have a starring role in this delightful video wherein he goes about learning the virtues of playing in mud (among other things):
