Remember Elahn Zetlin? He's known to our readers for his famous "Cat Dentist" video. The filmmaker has been based in Israel the past few years and has just informed us that he's returning home to his native Australia.

But before he leaves, he's been snapping photos left and right, hoping to capture some memories that will last a lifetime. Zetlin tells us he's recently been using some new apps to help him manipulate the photos, often making them look more like paintings than photos.

One of the most popular photo-to-paintings app these days is Prisma which can morph just about anything you snap on your iPhone into a piece of art. "I find that these imaging adjustment apps give your pictures that extra oomph," Zetlin told From The Grapevine.

Zetlin took the three pictures you see here on this page, along with a couple of others he recently shared with us from a walk in a park in the Mediterranean coastal city of Tel Aviv.
