The Rocket Man rocked out Thursday night in front of 40,000 fans at Yarkon Park, in the coastal Israeli city of Tel Aviv.

Miriam Gold, who grew up singing Elton John's songs in the 1980s in Worcester, Mass., now lives in Israel. “The show was great," she told From The Grapevine. "He played lots of old stuff and also played some new things."

She said “Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me” was her favorite song of the night but that "Crocodile Rock," had the crowd up and dancing. "People loved it and it was a perfect night in Tel Aviv."
