GoPro captures animals drinking at the trough

These thirsty creatures certainly won't win points for decorum.

A zookeeper in Israel captured a host of animals drinking at the trough with a video camera. 

In the video below, zookeeper Elad Hershkowitz was able to record (in order): a giraffe, lion, oryx, lemur monkey, tapir, zebra and rhino by placing a GoPro camera at the bottom of a drinking trough at the Zoological Center Tel Aviv-Ramat Gan.

According to Hershkowitz, several of the animals were initially skeptical of the camera, slapping at the water, before thirst overtook them. Interestingly, the carnivores, such as the lion, were more aggressive lapping up water, whereas the herbivores, such as the rhino, gently lapped up the water with their lips.
