Stunning upset leaves American eliminated at Wimbledon
Diminutive Dudi Sela overcame John Isner's towering presence for a huge victory.
David – or should we say Dudi – prevailed over Goliath at Wimbledon Thursday.
In what was a matchup of the vertically mismatched, 5-feet-9 Israeli David "Dudi" Sela defeated the 6-feet-10 American John Isner in five sets, 6-7, 7-6, 5-7, 7-6, 6-3 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

The outcome of the Gentlemen's Singles second-round match was something of a shocker. Isner, the 23rd seed, is ranked 21st in the world, while Sela came into the tournament unseeded and with a world ranking of just 90.
Sela’s win comes two days after he beat Spaniard Marcel Granollers in five sets to advance to the second round.

Sela has been on something of a hot streak lately. He won the Nottingham Open two weeks ago and now sees himself through to the third round at Wimbledon, where he'll face Bulgarian star Grigor Dimitrov, the 8th-ranked player in the world, on Saturday.
