Alber Elbaz throws epic, candy-coated bash to kick off Fashion Week
Pink fortune cookies, chandeliers filled with vodka and pointy hats. It can only be #NYFW.
Beyond the runway shows and celebrity sightings, it wouldn't be Fashion Week without the showstopping parties. The annual New York extravaganza made its loud and always over-the-top entrance this week with a number of epic bashes, including one from Israeli designer Alber Elbaz kicking off his new handbag line with LeSportsac.
The graduate of the Shenkar School of Design in Israel has for years boasted his own legion of loyal red-carpet clients – among them Cate Blanchett, Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Julianne Moore, Meryl Streep and Emma Stone. And now, after leaving his longtime post at Lanvin, it appears Elbaz is mixing it up in the accessories arena.
So, to kick off the exciting union, the handbag maker threw a massive bash with Elbaz at the helm. Scroll down for some truly show-stopping party scenes.
