Tapenade and red pepper crostini

If you are an olive lover, this app recipe is for you. It is a tasty hors d'oeuvre with a spread of herbed goat cheese, roasted red pepper and homemade tapenade.
- 1 baguette, sliced
- 3/4 cup oilve oil
- Sea salt
- 8 ounces black olives
- 4 ounces kalamata olives
- 4 ounces green olives
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 roasted red pepper
- 4 ounces herbed goat cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Lay some sliced baguette out on a baking sheet.
Brush each piece over the top with a little bit of olive oil.
Sprinkle with a little sea salt.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes until they're golden brown.
Finely chop three different kinds of olives: black olives, kalamata olives and green olives. Of course you can use whatever olives you want. I chose these for the taste and visual appearance.
Add some olive oil to your chopped olives and mix together. This can also be done in a Cuisinart, however it will end up being more finely chopped.
Slice some roasted red peppers into fine strips.
Spread herbed goat cheese on top of each piece of crostini.
Add one strip of the roasted red pepper on top of the goat cheese.
Then, add a small scoop of the tapenade and dust with chopped parsley.
Now you're good to go! Simply plate and serve.
