


Super green smoothie
Avocado in a smoothie? Trust us. It's good fat, and great taste.
Every time I use avocado in a dessert or a smoothie, people are surprised. We almost forget that it is a fruit. But it is! And like most fruits, it goes so well with dessert options.
Since you are being good and eating this delicious smoothie, you can have this chocolate pudding after. It is made with avocado. So it is a good fat! And it is vegan.
Most smoothies you can make ahead and freeze but keep in mind, the avocado in this can brown. Now, there are enough other ingredients that it shouldn't. But don't be surprised if it does. Avocado does not always freeze well.
Ingredients
- 1 avocado
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup chopped spinach
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Directions
Add avocado, banana, spinach, strawberries, almond milk and orange juice to a blender and blend until super smooth.
