Slow-roasted garlic mushrooms
This simple side dish also tastes delicious atop a burger or salad.
These slow-roasted mushrooms are great on burgers, a side to any meal, or even over pasta. And when we say "slow," we don't mean "simmer in a Crock Pot all day" slow. It's really only 35 minutes of roasting for a delicious result.
If you are a mushroom lover, try them this way. They will not disappoint.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 pound whole mushrooms, stems removed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400° F.
Add the butter to an oven-safe fry pan, and melt it over a medium low heat.
Add in the garlic, and saute for 10 seconds.
Add in the mushrooms and mix so that all mushrooms are coated in butter and garlic.
Make sure all mushroom caps are facing up. Place the pan in the oven.
Roast the mushrooms for about 35 minutes, until they are golden brown.
