Roasted green beans with peanut sauce
If you like Thai food, this is a great DIY dish.
Here is an easy recipe to Thai up your next meal or BBQ. Fresh green beans are everywhere these days. One of the best parts of summer! And this peanut sauce is so easy to make and delicious, you are going to want to put it on everything!
- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 1 teaspoon peanut oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons hot sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon chopped peanuts
Add the green beans to a large mixing bowl with the peanut oil and salt. Mix until all beans are coated.
Place the beans on a baking sheet and roast in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
While the beans are roasting, mix together the peanut butter, soy sauce, garlic, sugar, and hot sauce.
Add in half of the water and keep adding more until desired consistency is reached.
When the beans are finished roasting, remove from oven, plate, and top with peanut sauce and chopped peanuts.
