Mango sorbet champagne cocktail

This frosty concoction requires only two ingredients: mango sorbet and champagne.

  • Yield: Serves 2
  • Prep time: 10 minutes

Brunch, New Year's Eve, or just because it is Tuesday, this champagne cocktail is perfect any time. It's also great as a dessert cocktail. So many options, and it is easy to make!

  • Mango sorbet
  • Champagne

The key to getting the visual on this cocktail takes a few steps, but once you have it they are easy. First, line a baking sheet with wax paper.

Using a melon baller or a small spoon, scoop small amounts of the mango sorbet onto the baking sheet. You will need about 8 or so per martini glass or wine glass.

Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 2 hours.

Remove the baking sheet and further roll the scooped sortbet into balls. Place the sheet in the freezer again for an hour.

To serve, gently place the mango sorbet balls in a glass and slowly pour champagne over them for the full bubbly fountain effect.
