Make your own 2-ingredient pistachio butter
Fun and flavorful, it can stand on its own or add a punch to your favorite treat.
Pistachios are one of my favorite snacks, so when I learned of pistachio butter, I of course immediately fell for the stuff. Unfortunately, it's not the easiest item to find on shelves in the United States. Fortunately, it's really quite easy to make.
- 16 ounces pistachios
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
Preheat oven to 350° F. Line a shallow baking dish with parchment paper.
Place pistachios on the baking sheet and place in the oven for 5-10 minutes.
Remove the pistachios and let cool for another 5-10 minutes.
Add pistachios and salt to food processor.
Blend for at least 10 minutes, or more depending on how you like the consistency.
