Lemon garlic asparagus

Asparagus is here! I long for this time of year every single year. I cannot wait to add it to everything.
First off, if you buy a lot of asparagus, make sure you know how to store it. My quick storage tips for asparagus will keep it fresh for weeks. You don't want it going bad.
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- Pinch black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Parmesan cheese
Heat oil in large skillet.When oil shimmers, add in asparagus, salt, and papper. Stirring frequently.
After a few minutes, add in lemon juice, garlic, and lemon zest. Cook for a minute.
Checking that asparagus is cooked and tender, remove from heat. Transfer to platter and top with shaved Parmesan cheese.
