Garlic sesame broccoli
A simple vegetable dish with Asian flair and tons of flavor.
Good food doesn’t have to be complicated. A few good ingredients and that is it. This is a great side dish if you are looking for a healthy and flavorful recipe.
This recipe is great over rice, even cauliflower rice, but can also be made with florets and added to a chilled noodle bowl.
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 pound baby broccoli
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- Sesame seeds
Heat oil in a large skillet over a medium-low heat.
Add shallot, increase heat to medium and cook for 30 seconds.
Add in garlic, saute for 10 seconds.
Add broccoli, a tablespoon of water, the teriyaki sauce and cover. Cook until tender.
Plate with sesame seeds and enjoy.
