Fruit and granola yogurt bowl
Breakfast is served. Beautifully.
I love yogurt for breakfast because, really, it is just a vehicle for other delicious things. And yogurt itself is delicious, so win-win. This recipe is merely a suggestion as the best yogurt bowls are made from whatever you have in the kitchen.
Since winter provides us with so much delicious citrus, this particular recipe is one I enjoy a lot. But feel free to experiment. Nuts, dried or fresh fruits, and almost any seed will work. Other great additions are jam, honey, or agave. I use those when I have an unsweetened yogurt.
Fresh herbs also work. Chopped-up mint or even rosemary can be fun. What better way to have a delicious breakfast and use up whatever food you have on hand?

- 1/2 cup granola
- 1/2 ruby red grapefruit
