Frozen mimosa

It's the cocktail that looks and tastes like dessert.

  • Prep time: 5 minutes

Brunch is my most favorite meal. You can pretty much serve any recipe and get away with it. Seriously, I have made everything from lasagna to wontons work. But the most important part of brunch is the mimosa. Here's a fun way to enjoy that classic combo.


  • 2 cups fresh orange juice
  • 4 cups champagne
  • 2 cups orange sherbert
  • Candied orange slices


Add the orange juice and sherbert to a blender and blend until smooth.

Add the champagne and blend until combined. I do this to reduce bubble loss. You still want that tingly mimosa, right?

Divide the frosty mimosa into glasses and garnish with a candied orange slice.

For a few variations, try half orange sherbert and half vanilla ice cream for a creamsicle mimosa. Or any fruity sherbert will work!
