


Double chocolate cherry cookies
Cherries add a fresh summer twist to these surprisingly wholesome fudgy cookies.
Now here’s a cookie you can get excited about. Made with fruit, fiber and high-quality ingredients, it’s got none of the no-nos and all of the yum. But don’t think that because it’s made with better-for-you ingredients that these will come out rock-like or dry. Chocolate cherry fudge cookies are chewy, not-too-sweet and surprisingly filling.

Ingredients
- 1 banana, mashed thoroughly
- 1 1/2 cup white whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup DAGOBA cacao powder
- 1/4 cup coconut oil or olive oil
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2-1 cup fresh or dried cherries, chopped
- 1 cup DAGOBA premium chocodrops
Directions
Preheat oven to 325°. Line baking pan with parchment paper.
Mix all ingredients except for cherries and chocolate chips. Add at the end, and mix. Use a cookie scoop to shape cookies and place on baking pan. Press down firmly with your palm or a spatula to flatten.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until centers are set. Allow to sit on baking sheet for another 10 minutes, and then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
