Chocolate peanut butter kitchen s'mores
Turn a campfire classic into a decadent dessert you can whip up in your own kitchen.
Aah, the memories of those summer campfires. Coming home covered in mosquito bites and smelling like smoke for days, not to mention wondering what else you ingested with that piece of corn on the cob that was retrieved from the bottom of the campfire.
So here’s a thought – create some decadent s’mores in the comfort of your own kitchen, and create a campfire-style dessert without the bugs or the smoke! If you have access to an indoor fireplace, let the kids roast their marshmallows the old-fashioned way, on a whittled down branch. Then proceed with the directions after step one. Either way, you’re in for a gooey, chocolatey, nutty hot treat!
Ingredients
- 24 chocolate graham crackers
- 16 Reese's peanut butter cups
- 12 marshmallows
- 6 ounces honey roasted peanuts, crushed
Directions
Set oven to low broil. Line baking sheet with parchment paper, and place marshmallows on top. Broil for 3-5 minutes, or until marshmallows are browned and puffed up.
Layer a hot marshmallow on each cracker. Top with a Reese's cup, and press down with a second graham cracker.
Melt 4 extra Reese’s cups. Drizzle melted Reese’s over the tops of each s’more sandwich, and sprinkle with crushed honey roasted peanuts.
Serve warm.
